FYI: The judges hated it. According to Randy Jackson, the votes were so boring. He concluded that Tim's version was more like a bad karaoke. Ellen DeGeneres loves. I presume that she will love them all, literally, throughout the season. But he added that it was the plat. So from then on there are all honest.
As for Simon Cowell would say that "hatred" would be an understatement. He described it as completely useless and totally stupid. Two weeks - stupid, stupid song choices.
